iStore Mall of Africa

iStore Mall of Africa I went into the iStore in the Mall of Africa on Saturday 23 July 2022 to see if i could get a trade in price for some Apple products I have, 2 x iPhone's & an iPad. After eventually finding someone who was prepared to help, 3 people duct & dived, anything not to help. The 1st thing that happens is the screen protectors are taken off all the units. I am then told that the one iPhone they won't take as the screen has been replaced. I am happy to accept this as the screen had been replaced, by not sure why the screen protector had to be removed for this. They then start testing the other iPhone, but say the speaker is faulty so they will give me R51:00. Again why the screen protector had to be removed for this, nobody could tell me. They then tell me that they have gone off line so I must come back in an hours time. This is after I have already spent an hour in the store. When I complain I just get blank looks... I then ask about the screen protectors & am told they have to take them off, not forgetting that they didn't even test the one phone or the iPad. I obviously ask about them about replacing the screen protector & am told that I need to buy new screen protectors... A dreadful experience & I will never go back.
