istore Clearwater mall - *********** staff, unfriendly service

I came into istore Clearwater Wednesday 5.01.2022 to bring in my iPhone 11 for the cash back trade in and take out a new Vodacom contract for the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Each consultant I spoke to was in a rush and not helpful. I was told they not sure if the cash back option is available yet it’s on the apple istore ZA site. It took an hour and half to be assisted eventually to take out the contract. Lerato assisted but each person at this point made it seem like such an inconvenience to help. I was assured I would be contacted the next day about my contract application status and when I can collect the new phone and bring in the old one. Thursday and Friday I had to call the store myself for updates, no one could advise on the progress. Eventually I came into the store myself because I was not getting a call back as promised. I ask numerous times if I should provide certain documents pertaining to my legal name change and was told no. On Friday Lerato called me to advise I can come in on Saturday to collect the phone the application was approved. I came in and Lerato was not working for the day and so I was assisted by Karabo who said that the contract was still in pending status and she needed extra documentation. My first issue is that it seemed like such an inconvenience for anyone to help or give friendly service or even allow you to ask questions before making a major purchase and my second issue is that terrible service, being told I would be updated and called on the progress of my application, being told phone is ready for collection to waste my time and come through and be told a whole different story.
