iStore Cavendish: Disgraceful service.

I have visited the iStore in Cavendish on approximately five occasions. Every visit has been plagued by terrible, rude service. Needing a new iPhone, and due to its convenient position, I though I'd give them another try. The store was quite empty. Shop assistants chatting to each other and coming and going from the back room. I waited for 14 minutes, not moving, clearly waiting for help. The assistants all just walked past, eyes averted. Eventually a lady came out from the back room and approached another customer who had arrived about 10 minutes after me. Luckily the customer was pleasant enough to point out that I was first and clearly needed help. The "assistant" walked up to me, bored out of her mind. "Have you been helped?" she asked. "No, but I have been waiting here for 14 minutes..." Expecting an apology, all I got was "What are you looking for?" "A new iPhone", I said. "What network?" she asked. "Vodacom", I said. "The Vodacom person is not here today", she said and just stared at me. I walked out. Seriously, there is no training in evidence, no supervision, no energy, no awareness of what's going on in the shop, no concept of how to talk to customers. Rather shop online or via one of the cellphone network providers. Just DO NOT go to iStore Cavendish.
