iStore Card... One Month now...

<p>So today marks the day that a month has passed of what was supposed to be a 14 day waiting period.</p> <p> </p> <p>I app**** for an iStore card on the 5th August and was quickly given a letter or credit and a request for the usual ID and bank statement which I did and all was well. </p> <p> </p> <p>The following week I called in and was told not to worry, I was still within the 14 week period. Another week passed and I Called again and the consultant told me that this was not right and she would "escalate" the situation... I thought okay cool... they are on top of things. Yet another week passed in which I called in again and this time I was told that my ID was not submitted. I assured the consultant that I send it and was staring at an email as we spoke... (not realising at the time that they did not have it for the past 2 weeks, or at least thought they didn't have it).</p> <p> </p> <p>Nonetheless, by this time my inbox was flooded with automatic replies and my phone dead silent with not one call returned since the end of the 14 day waiting period...</p> <p> </p> <p>At this point i presume the iStore card is a myth... a fantasy made up on a website to lure in unsuspecting customers to a gauntlet of waiting, document submissions and wasted minutes...</p>
