IPHONE X WATERPROOF/RESISTANT IS JUST A DECEPTION AND A LIE!

I bought an IPHONE X with the promise / guarantee that it was waterproof. Within a period of 6 months after having bought my phone it was in water and to my amazement it stopped working and wouldn't switch on again. The device didn't have any scratches, cracks or opening as it was new and also it was inside the water for less than a minute long. The water was not more than a meter high. I then the following day took my phone back to iStore for repairs and they said that they will escalate this matter to Apple. It my surprise Apple declined to repair / replace my device stating that the device is not waterproof in the 1st place. I am really shuttered as I was misled by the company and now I am left without a phone with not even a year of using it. Imagine the money I have wasted because of their misrepresentations. I feel that I was deceived and now I wont get my money back. I AM REALLY SHUTTERED AND ANGERED BY THIS. YOU SHOULD STOP MISLEADING PEOPLE!
