iPhone X Ghosting
I own an iPhone X that was bought 27 Dec 2018. The phone started ghosting 1 month after the guarantee of 3 years expired. I took it to Woodlands iStore to have it checked out. Tbe reply was that nothibg is wrong and I decided to have the battery replaced as well, because the then battery showed an 83% battery health. 3 weeks later and R1250 paid i had my phone back. 5 montbs later, the phone started ghosting again, but serious ghosting... So bad it started sending messages to my contacts. I took it back to Woodlands iStore and within 2 weeks again reported back that nothing was wrong. After I did a quick google search I found that this is a serious isdue on tbe iPhone X and that Apple will replace the display module free of charge. Only after I inquired about this I was told my phone is out of guarantee and I have to pay for the replacement. My expectation would be for Apple to have this display module replaced under guarantee already. This is the norm that happens to vehicles all over the world when expected for a module that is unsafe, irrespective if it is under guarantee or not. The point is, the phone is unsafe. Come on Apple, replace tbe display module at your cost and you will keep me as a customer.
My Audi had a factory recall and even being out of guarantee, they repaired what was a factory fault... Apple can learn from this and keep their clients.
This is the last I will ever buy an apple product.
Bad service apple.
