iPad repair shock.

iPad screen suddenly went black on my R18599 iPad after 18 months.I was told by iStore that they do not have spares so a complete motherboard would be required at cost R12908. This seemed unreasonable to me but iStore just referred me to Apple. I opened a case with Durban small claims court but was told it was the wrong court and I would have to restart again in Verulam. In the meantime the attorneys for iStore offered R5000 which I rejected. I believe that on purchasing the iPad I should have been told that if it failed there was a probability of high costs to repair it. Perhaps due to lack of spares in RSA? So now I am building up my strength to start the legal process again with small claims court Verulam.I have used this court before to get compensation from one of the cell phone companies and ended up with 50% more than my original claim so I am a fan of this court.
