Incredibly Poor Online Customer Journey / Sales Experience

Very poor website experience with a simply incredible amount of friction present in the user experience. In fact had iStore not been the only vendor to have stock of the MacBook that I was after, they'd have lost the sale there and then... They could seriously benefit from a UX / UI expert working through their online sales process, but I expect will see this as an expense to be managed / avoided, rather than an investment that will benefit themselves and customers alike. So expect a difficult website experience!

Secondly their post sale service was inept. In my case my 'next day delivery' did not materialise and I spent a considerable amount of time trying to find out where my MacBook was. It was a bit of a comedy of errors, with no one, from online support, to telephone support, to actual store staff, being able to help me with what should have been very simple information. So expect poor customer service and frustration if you need important information post sales. I will say here that the support staff themselves were courteous and polite, and that again this is an abject failing of iStore's customer journey at a systems level.

Needless to say I won't be using them again if I can possibly avoid it, nor will I be taking out insurance or iCare through them. I can't even imagine how terrible this would be based on my experience of their sales process?!?

If anyone at iStore actually reads this review and is genuinely interested in understanding why my customer journey was a nightmare, please do feel free to get into contact :) To consumers, best avoided if you're after a seamless online sales experience!
