How to improve your company's cash flow position. Take orders and payment for goods you can't supply!

On the 20th July I received a message from iStore indicating that the new MacBook Air with M2 chip was now available online only. In very small print it stated that there was limited launch stock. I placed an order and paid and my payment was acknowledged. When I tracked my order shortly afterwards I was dismayed to read that iStore was awaiting stock. It appears that my order and payment was accepted with IStore knowing full well that they had no hope of delivering promptly. I complained about the complete lack of good faith behavior in this transaction and was offered a choice of a refund or to leave the order in place for future delivery. With no information on delivery time I took the refund.
