Helpless & disappointed

I bought a lightning cable from iStore somerset 2 weeks ago. Yesterday when I was pulling the charger from the phone it left the little conduct thing inside the charging point the cable was out. I went to iStore somerset mall this morning then they pulled it out & I was told to buy a new but I told the sales consultant that it’s still new. She then took it to a technician & he said it was physical damage. I didn’t damage this charger & im so upset because I tried to put it back, trying to take out the small part. She wasn’t even willing to listen to me. I feel ****** because I spent R499 for this cable.
