Feedback non existent and false information provided with insurance claim

I submitted an iPhone 7 Plus for quotation to be fixed in an insurance claim. iStore said they do not fix devices they will replace it, my girlfriend were there when they said this, I agreed on that. iStore sent my device to Core-Service Comms. They quoted me on an amount and I accepted the quotation and my insurance, Santam, approved and paid out the quoted amount. I notified Core-Service Comms, with their response to it. They confirmed that I will receive the iPhone by the 6th or 7th April.

Then I received an SMS stating the next message 'Dear Customer. We hereby inform you that your unit is awaiting spares - R280318. Thank you for your patience. Regards. Core Service Centre'. Note the word “SPARES”. I sent them an email back with the concern and the quotation stating replacing the unit. This I sent the 4th 1 pm the afternoon and up to now no response from them. I asked that they contact me, calling me and still no response. I would love if somebody can provide me feedback regarding.

Kind regards.

Pieter
