Exceptional Service from Nontobeko

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Nontobeko on Saturday, the 23rd of November, while sorting out my new cellphone contract. Despite an initially frustrating experience with Telkom—where I was credit vetted twice for an iPhone 16 Pro Max that wasn’t in stock—Nontobeko went above and beyond to resolve the issue.

She managed to cancel the previous applications and redid the process, even though my application was flagged for review due to a system error. Throughout this, I was attending an out-of-office meeting in Cape Town and couldn’t visit Kolonnade Mall, but Nontobeko kept me updated every step of the way over the next four business days, even while she was on leave.

On the day I returned to Johannesburg, the 25th of November, she contacted me to let me know my application was approved and went the extra mile by sharing her personal number for coordination. On Friday, the 29th of November, after being stuck in traffic for over three hours and missing the shop’s closing time, Nontobeko graciously unlocked the door and assisted me despite the inconvenience.
