Excellent customer service at Apple istore Tygervalley Mall, Bellville Cape Town

excellent customer service experience at the i store, Tygervalley Mall in Bellville Cape Town, on 23 May 2019.

Basically I had been having huge problems with my mac and was uncertain whether it was the charging cable or the computer itself that was the problem.., I had. a really important piece of work that I was busy with, and it was quite stressful that my macbook wasn’t working..

the initial person that assisted me wasn’t particularly interested or helpful - i was told that they didn’t have a cable for my vintage mac to try it and see if that was the problem, and that could well have been the end of it! but fortunately for me, Trulene, who I think might be the manager ?? overheard, and came to my rescue…

she really made every effort to assist me, and managed to find the correct cable for me to try. She was so kind, and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Donovan, the technical person, spent ages with me trying to see how my computer could be optimized. I really valued his patience and expertise, and particularly the fact that there was no hard sell or pressure to immediately purchase something else. He was also extremely helpful and very patient with my total tech ignorance.

Ultimately I bought a new macbook air, & Donovan explained what could be done in terms of transfer from my old computer to the new one, and suggested various things that can be done in order to optimize my use of the new one etc.

So I’d really like to compliment Donovan and Trulene for their amazing customer service, willingness to go the extra mile, and general helpfulness.. They were amazing! Anything technical is daunting and stressful for me, and it was such a relief to find so much assistance and genuine kindness.

I hope that they will be acknowledged for really superlative customer service
