Disappointng iStore

Last weekend I purchased airpods for my young son's birthday (which was on Thur). The right airpod proved to be faulty, confirmed when going back into the Walmer Park store yesterday.

From a customer service perspective, it really is disappointing that a faulty product is not summarily replaced, instead we await to hear from the Service/Repairs Dept. (Feedback was promised by COB yesterday, but nothing received as yet).

The staff at the Walmer Park iStore are traditionally helpful & competent, but this would be some company policy that mitigates a customer focus/service ethos.
