Charger explodes & phone malfunctions & Apple aren't willing to follow through on warranty

<p>I woke up a couple nights ago to a burning smell to find my Apple IPhone 6s charger on the floor, ejected out of the wall & in two pieces. The cable was burnt & charger & my phone was not working,</p> <p>I took it straight to the Istore in Sandton & sent it in for review.</p> <p>I receive an email 3 days later saying that this device has been tampered with by a 3rd party & they will not fix it / replace it,</p> <p>This is absolutely appalling after having the charger almost start a fire & the phone & charger are not even a year old. This phone was purchased from the online Istore & they are simply deciding to ignore the problem,</p> <p>Please be aware that Samsung are not the only mobile company to have devices exploding & the difference is, Apple is not willing to follow through on the warranty.</p> <p>I mean why would I deliberately tamper with a perfect, brand new phone and charger?</p> <p>Definitely not so I can stand in a cue at the Istore in Sandton and be without a phone for 15days while they do their "inspection"</p> <p> </p> <p>This is ridiculous.</p>
