Can not put a finger on what’s happening at iStore
I bought an iphone using float, which was supposed to be paid over six months. After two months of paying, float took the whole amount instead of the instalment that was due that month. I took the matter up with float, as the money they took was for the debit order for my car. Float promised to refund, but iStore need to create a refund request on their merchant portal. I went to iStore Capegate with my story, and the manager wrote emails so that i can get my refund [which is the amount deducted, less the instalment]. I also roped in Melissa Warren from customer care for help
For some reason, the manager changed, that i must bring the phone, so that they can give me the full refund, for which i was at a loss because the [partial] refund doesn’t involve taking back the iphone. Now me and my team have been try to think what’s the reason behind demanding the iphone back - is it that “preowned” sold the phone to the wrong client demographically, and the Capegate manager doesn’t want the wrong client to own an iphone from them, so he wants to take it back - so this pretending to help was just to get rid of me as an owner of iphone for iStore - is float part of iStore, - so [when i went to Capegate] they actually shared my rant [my car was about to be repossessed because float took the money that was supposed to go torwards its payment/debit order]; and if so, clearly "the customer is NOT always RIGHT" at both float and iStotre - they are privy to what float is doing, taking the whole amount after tow instalments, even though the agreement is to deduct for six months - or did the Capegate manager say something to Melissa, because all of a sudden she stopped returning my emails - clearly the customer isnt always right at iStore
