Beats headphones damaged from the start

Hi. My son saved 3 years to buy a set of Beats Headphones. When we got home the set would not charge. The next day we went back to the Woodlands istore to hear that they can not give him a new pair as they need to send it to the repair centre to test it. We have tested it in the shop and the manager confirmed that it is not charging bus till he said this is the process. It has now been 6 days and my son is still without is brand new Beats
