BAD SERVICE FROM APPLE & CORE SERVICES

I bought an Applemac in 2014, valued at R20 000. In late 2017 the computer would no longer turn on. iStore said it was liquid damage, which I dispute since the computer had never been near water. In any event, the computer was insured so I told them to repair at a cost of nearly R10 000. They openly advertise that a loan computer is available if your computer is in for repairs, but upon asking was told that no loan computer was available. Blatantly misleading advertising! Then I was given a 3 month warranty on the repair that was done. After two weeks, the computer would not turn on (original fault) and I returned it to iStore Cavendish a few weeks later but still within the 3 month warranty period. I was then advised it would cost more than R7 000 to do another repair!. Apparently, more water damage, even though the computer has never been anywhere near water! While I was trying to explain the situation to the people at Core Services who do the repairs, they simply sent the computer back to iStore Cavendish saying I had not responded to either accept or decline their quote. In my opinion, their 'loan computer' and '3 month warranty' on repairs is a huge **** so be very careful when buying any Apple product! They also do not take any calls from customers so if you miss their call, bad luck. Very high and mighty attitude, complete lack of customer service!
