Apple unhelpful and un-environmentally friendly
Cresta: 19/02 4pm
I was trying to install bootcamp on an external drive- something which can be done, although it is complicated.
Spoke to a disinterested technician who said that they are not trained to do that... and therefore I should rather buy some other device which would cost me between R2000- R3000. I don't see how this is productive or customer friendly! If you are not trained to do something- then find out and get back to me... don't make me buy more products I don't need.
Eastgate: 26/02 6pm
My macbook charger has frayed at the box- I went to Apple to get it fixed. Apparently they don't fix them and I must buy a new charger for between R1500- R1800. This is SO un-environmentally friendly and a HUGE amount of money! As I refused to buy a new one, I have since had it fixed by simply soldering the split parts.

I don't understand the arrogance of apple and how disinterested you are in your customers. As a very loyal customer it is disappointing that when things go wrong the genuine customer support one would expect from such a brand is nowhere to be seen.
