Apple iStore - Cavendish Square

I was searching for a new phone yesterday (21.03.18) at the iStore in Cavendish Square.

I was being assisted by a lovely young gentleman (who's name escapes me at the moment). he stepped away to check my current iPhone - because it was not charging. in his absence a rather aggressive woman came to stand (she actually half leaned on the table with all of her weight) in front of me as I was looking at the iPods. She gave me a forced smile and asked if i had been helped, I responded with a "yes, thank you. Your colleague is looking at my phone and will be back shortly". The woman (who turns out to be the Store manager) continued to half lay on the counter that i was standing behind and continued to watch me rather closely. I felt rather uncomfortable having this woman so close to me (perhaps it was her general attitude and lack of customer care that made me feel this way). the gentleman came back to assist me further and showed me that my phone would now charge. the woman continued to lay on the table and stare at the guy that was assisting me and myself! i finally told her that i didn't appreciate her standing there and i wanted her to "go away, please" (my exact words). she became extremely confrontational and aggressive. How shocking - never should you raise your voice at a client, especially in a very busy store full of other clients.

I asked for her Regional Managers contact details and she refused to acknowledge my request! and walked away. i eventually spoke to one of her fellow colleagues who was kind enough to furnish me with an email address for their "Head Office".

I ended up not making the purchase and went to a competitor.

How pathetic that a well established and trusted service provider would higher staff that treat "valued" clients in such a manner!
