AirPods Warranty ****

Took in my less than a year old AirPods (replacement pair after the first pair also failed inside of a year). The AirPods were tested and reported as failing, but they are apparently out of warranty..... According to the store, the warranty is a continuation from the original pair, and not the replacement pair. As a loyal Apple customer for decades, I think this is utterly disgusting that a new replacement product doesn't carry its own full year warranty. Or is a sign of the level of faith Apple has in their products life span.......
