Advertising non-existent stock (No stock, No ETA, No Updates, just wait list)

I went into iStore to buy an Apple Watch 3 weeks ago but was told that they have no stock so I was put on a wait list. I was told by the salesperson that I would probably have to wait for about a week.

It is now three weeks later - I've been back to the store twice, called their customer care line and tried getting hold of them on Facebook Messenger to check if there is any update on when they will be receiving stock or if there is any other store that can assist me with the model that I require. I was either ignored completely (Facebook) or was just told that they don't have stock at any stores and have no idea when stock will be available again.

My company is in the import business and I can appreciate that global supply chains are backed up at the moment, but to advertise a product which you know you cannot deliver or to tell customers that there are no indications of when you can assist them is really terrible service.

I've been dealing with iStore for many years and have bought just about all of my Apple products from them but I'm really not happy with them at the moment.
