Abysmal customer service at iStore V&A
The iStore at the V&A in Cape Town has once again provided horrific support. Over the last handful of years, I have probably spent close to 6 figures at this store on phones, laptops etc. and when it comes to sales, the team is always fairly enthusiastic. However, yesterday, for the 3rd time in a row when I came in with a problem, the support is non-existing. At the bottom, some *****s on my Macbook Pro are fairly loose, 2 have been lost completely. I don't think it's too much to ask to tighten the other *****s and maybe get 2 new ones in. But no. In a very condescending way, I was told that 1) the laptop needs to be sent in (which is insane for something so small), 2) the *****s cost R300 a piece (which again, is very doubtful) and 3) I should take it to Digicape rather. Another time, I had a small issue with my phone which would not restart after a software update - at the store I was told at 9.30 AM that the support desk was completely booked out the entire day. At the WeFix which was located 50m further away at the time, they were able to sort the phone out in under 20 minutes.
Clearly, your salaries are based on turnover only and that's why nobody cares about the after-sales. Simple solution: I will get my Apple products elsewhere from now on. Maybe you should look up the term CRM... clearly you don't know what it means.
