3rd Faulty MacBook Pro - Not Replacing

I bought, at my local iStore at Gateway, the new Macbook Pro with Touchbar, 256GB version in January 2017.

Within a month the unit showed signs of being faulty, faulty keys, red screening and very poor battery life.

It was sent away, OS reinstalled and was told all is fine. Although within a day the same problems were back again and had to be sent back again to be investigated.

After some arguing and getting the local ombudsman to get pressure on iStore to replace the unit, which they eventually agreed and did so.

Less than a month later, this unit too had some keys intermittently not working and left speaker had blown, along with poor GFX performance and again red screening.

It was sent away and replaced without much hesitation, although they wanted to replace the logic board, which I was not happy about seeing as its a brand new unit which malfunctioned and the logic board of these notebooks are the entire insides of the unit.

On a side note, none of these issues are unique to me. There are 1000's of reports online with people across the internet having the exact same issues with their late 2016 model, which all my replacement units were part of this same early batch of "late 2016" units.

Three months into my third Macbook for 2017, surprise surprise.... It again gave red screens, checkered screens and eventually the right speaker blow which caused me to send it in again.

Again they are only offering to replace the logic board which leaves me in a position of having to again argue my rights as a consumer not to deal with a faulty unit and not to have it repaired by replacing the entire inside of the notebook 3 months into owning it.

As mentioned, all these units were late 2016 models if you look at the system info and warranty information on iCare site. All units were also brand new out the box with clean installs so as to not bring over any potential issues.

I even added additional support to the unit to ensure I was covered for 2 years seeing the issues I was having at the time, having hoped it were the last!

Without stating the obvious, this is a business tool for me which every time I send it away its weeks without the ability to be production and create product which leads to getting paid.

I feel need to make a decision on using this product since its negatively impacting my ability to earn a living. Which I dont have the financial means to purchase a backup Macbook to cater for the lack of quality in Apples high end computing devices.
