IsmashedIt broke my phone!
Ismashedit responded very quickly to my initial enquiry and sent a technician within two days to repair my Galaxy S7 edge which had a cracked screen. Unfortunately the good story ends here.
After completing the repair, the technician showed me that he had damaged the back cover during the repair but assured me it would be sorted out. He eventually returned with a new back cover and replaced it.
About an hour after he had left, I noted that the new back cover had become loose and had actually cracked. I lodged a complaint with Ismashed it, requesting a new replacement and also a different technician. All communications from Ismashedit ceased at this point, about two weeks ago.
It is clear to me that they have no intention of properly repairing my phone and I will be forced to fork out another R1500 for repairs in addition to the R4000 I already paid them.
In conclusion I will NOT recommend Ismashedit to anyone as they are clearly not competent to provide this service and do not respond to complaints.
