We wanted Salmon, not possibly Salmonella
Today, my wife and I visited the Isabella's at Southdowns, Irene. and this is the third time we have ordered salmon from the menu and it has clearly been old. My wife ordered the Be my baby scones and I ordered a salmon croissant. In both the dishes, the salmon was sticky, grey in certain areas and both the scone and croissant were stale but toasted. I made a previous complaint on Hellopeter (http://hellopeter.com/isabellas/complaints/sunday-salmon-is-not-fresh-***) and was assured by the head office that this would not happen again. The attitude of the franchisee (Jolize) was again extremely poor. I'm sure she remembered my wife and I as she flat out ignored us while doting on other tables. I hate to bring up race because I am not a South African who uses it as an excuse. But when someone displays ****** tendencies evident in their conduct with other customers, I feel I have to say something. On tables where there were white customers, she cleaned up those tables, chatted to them and was extremely attentive. On a table with two black ladies she ignored them confirming it wasn't just us. I guess there's no need for standards depending on who you are when you visit this branch.
