Really old, stale cake

On Friday, I bought a piece of red velvet cake for take away at the Waterkloof corner branch. When I arrived home and took a bite, it was bone dry and hard. On al sides and inside as well. This after they cut off a piece to assure freshness. It was clear that it was way old! I was shocked as I am a regular at Isabella's Waterkloof and the cake has always been fresh. At R45 for a piece that I could not eat, I immediatly sent them a facebook message, but I did not get a reply. This is a premium price without the premium service. Isabella's will not see this cake adict again.
