Avoid irobust tech at all costs.
!*Avoid this company at all costs.*! My experience with iRobust Tech has been nothing short of appalling. I ordered a Canon RF 28-70mm f/2.8 IS STM lens that was advertised as being in stock. After taking my payment, communication completely disappeared. Emails were ignored, phone calls went unanswered, and I was left chasing them for basic information about an expensive order. Eventually, I was told they had to order the lens from their supplier, which immediately made me question whether it had ever been in stock as advertised. Had they been honest and transparent from the beginning about the actual lead time, I could have made an informed decision instead of wasting valuable time. The delays have now forced me to make alternative arrangements for an urgent shoot, and I have cancelled my order. Even now, I cannot get a response regarding my cancellation or my refund. Once again, my emails and messages are being ignored. The complete lack of communication and customer service is unacceptable. Taking a customer's money is easy; responding to that customer when there is a problem appears to be another matter entirely. If you are considering spending thousands of rand on camera equipment, ask yourself whether you're prepared to risk being ignored if something goes wrong. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. Unless this matter is resolved immediately and my refund is processed, I will have no option but to escalate the matter through the appropriate consumer protection channels and pursue every available avenue to recover my money.
