STAY AWAY #*****witmens
I found out I will be leaving the country for an urgent affair. I gave a 30-day notice and paid my last rental fee in full before leaving. Now, first of all, I have never seen such unprofessional, uninviting, condescending nor arrogant way of doing business. The so-called manager (more like momma's pet) presented himself as "not taking **** from any body paying late or not sticking to the contract". No wonder he is still working from his living room, driving a soccer mom's car. He is chasing away people. After paying my first deposit and moving into my new home (with the most amazing family staying on the premises), everything was fine. (of course it was fine, he got his first payment). It was three months, and I found out about my new adventures. After conversing with the owner of the house about leaving, I decided to visit the rental "office" with a professional motive to ASK the renting agent/manager/owner HOW it would work if I were to give notice and leave. With a discouraging en beguiling attitude, the first thing he said is that I am in breach of contract and my father and I "clearly didn't listen to him the first day". Who says something like that? I thought it is a rental agency, not a preschool. But I'm sure his mom (the owner) has taught him this as she typically looks like a preschool principal. After all this childish behavior, they eventually settled (and saw the legal terms) the situation. But oh wait, my deposit needs to be returned. "No, sir, I keep the full deposit for my personal commission, and advertising costs". Personal commission? ***? Do you send yourself a paycheck in the mail too every month. But that's fine, Mr T, the rental tribunal will sort this out for me.
