Irish Mist Holiday Farm

Irish Mist !!!!!!!!! What a disappointment, The entire self catering venue was booked out this weekend from 22nd March till 24th March for a wedding that was held at The Glades, there were at least 20 odd of us that paid up front long ahead of time. We were informed a couple of days prior to us arriving that the venue has no ESKOM power due to load shedding, on the day that we arrived we were informed that the cables had been ******. The agreement was that there would be a generator to service the entire place and that we would have time for geezer's to heat up and the other necessary duties that one needs power for. on sunday morning only a few people strategically placed had hot water the rest of us still had cold showers just the same as we had on Saturday morning. we confronted the owners on a few occasions during Friday and as well as Saturday, our plea fell on deaf ears, when we complained the male owner tried to make an excuse that they sent us a message to inform us that we are welcome to ask for a refund and find another place to stay, this message was never received by the person that made the booking and when I asked the owner to see the message he merely fobbed me off and went off on a tangent about how hard they are trying to rectify the situation. I can categorically state that yes they were trying to get the situation resolved buy I think too little too late. There is another couple that had to go to the doctor with severe bites all over their bodies and the were informed by their doctor that the bites are undoubtedly the bites from bed bugs.
