Poor Show Irish Emabssy

I have a trip to Europe (including Ireland) from 14-28August 2024. This trip was booked and paid for (~R150 000)in April/May 2024 and my Schengen Visa was issues in June 2024. Then, Ireland decided that SA Citizens also require visa from 10th August 2024. I have no problem with this, but to give just 4 week's notice is a ridiculously short period of time. SO I app**** for my Irish visa on 16th July and to date have still not received this. Worse the level of communication from the Irish Embassy has been nothing short of appalling. I have been given an email address for queries but to date, after about 10 emails I have not received a single reply. Truly pathetic and appalling communication - AND this from a Country that purports to be a leading proponent of Human Rights in the world. I cannot emphasize how disappointed I am with the level of service from the Irish embassy
