Irene Village Mall puts young girls at risk

just had the most shocking experience at Irene Mall. I dropped my children off to see a movie at Ster Kinekor and when I came back to fetch them after the movie I wasn't allowed in the gates. The security guards said my kids will have to walk out across the parking lot from where I said I'll fetch them. This is at night in the dark - 2 young girls!! It turned into a screaming match with a security supervisor who swore at me while spitting in my face. I then squeezed in front of someone exiting the mall (who they unlocked the gate for) and drove to the spot I said I'd pick my girls up. The supervisor guard followed and all the guards laughed at my kids as they walked to the car. The supervisor laughed too and said "let's see how you get out now". Then they wouldn't let us out of the mall gates at all. I called our security company and then a kind young couple exiting the mall tried to help us. They begged the guards to let us out too and the guards agreed then waited until the couple drove away before locking us in again. The couple drove back to the gate and asked them why they had locked the gate again and the guards finally let us out. All of this lasted about 40 minutes. We made a video which will be posted on YouTube and I'll make sure this doesn't go unnoticed. Young girls are targeted daily in our country and mall SECURITY should be there to keep mall patrons safe!!??? We sat there in the car crying after being verbally abused - with my kids! This is repulsive and I'll be opening a case with video evidence.
