Irene Mall Gift Voucher Expires and Mall Cant Explain Why!

<p>So I received a R500 gift voucher from the Irene Mall. It says it expires in 11/13 which is ******* to start with as the Consumer Protection Act requires vouchers to remain valid for a minimum of 3 years. So the earliest expiry date should be somewhere around 2016. Unfortunately the Mall refuses to renew the voucher. So basically the Mall Management receives R500 in cash, has had the benefit of holding my cash for 4 years at the prevailling interest rate and can give me no explanation for their expiry policy except to say it is 'their company policy". I'm sorry but that is just pathetic customer service!</p>
