Arrogant Staffmember at lower restaurant

Was so upset and disappointed about the way we treated here today.First went to the restaurant near the shop, my 87 year old mother and myself.We were told there would be a 25 min wait so I asked if there was space at the restaurant below and was told there was.So my Mom who battles to walk and I took a walk down to that restaurant.We waited to be assisted .When the young white man came to help we were looked up and down with such a look of disdain and then asked if we had booked which I said we hadn't..We were then told he had nothing for at least an hour .Strange when I saw plenty of empty places and tables inside that were not being used .I then told him we were sent there from upstairs.He shrugged his shoulders and couldn'have cared less.I was furious as my Mom really battled to walk down there and this arrogant youngster could have been more respectful and polite.I got the impression he didn't want us there.His really needs an attitude adjustment if he wants to work in the restaurant business.The young man in the upper restaurant could give him lessons on how to do the job.He was really pleasant.I will not be coming here again in a hurry.I grew up in the area and have been coming here for decades and have never been treated by someone with such bad body language and rudeness.
