Dishonest and Terrible Quality Parts/Service

In short - these guys are NOT to be trusted. Go Somewhere Else!!! Try Mac Wave instead. As the story goes ... I brought my Mac into iQuick because the battery started to swell (it was 7yrs old). I was told I had to pay a diagnostic fee for them to figure out what was wrong with the unit when it was glaringly obvious what the issue was. When I asked for the diagnostic report (numerous times) it never materialized. I learned the hard way that this diagnostic fee/report is a total way to **** people. I paid an exorbitant amount for the battery to be replaced (over R4,000) only for it to be malfunctioning 7 months later. Somehow, I don't think they are using quality parts - do you? A new battery swells after 7 months just with regular use?! Now, iQuick is only happy to quote me for a new battery because the other one was only good (under warranty) for 6 months and not 12. Whatever, I'm so tired of fighting for good and honest service. Quality service? You won't find it here. If you have a lot of money (and time) to blow on repairs over and over again then iQuick Sea Point is your spot.
