iQuick came well-recommended and I had consistently good experiences with them compared to other third-party Apple repair brands. Their service was efficient and effective, and communication was regular and professional. Having developed some brand loyalty, I went straight to iQuick for a repair/sell-for-parts service I wanted on my old, broken iPhone. All was as described, except with respect to Michael sadly, the business director/owner I think. Initially, iQuick couldn't explain why a valuation-for-parts was taking so long, until eventually they conceded that all such valuations go through Michael, who was overseas—poor business plan. Michael and I had been in contact over WhatsApp before (his choice of comm, not mine), and in messaging him I finally had an ETA, that went by without any notice. Michael has since set one expectation after another, either for delivery or just for his feedback, virtually all of which have gone unfulfilled, and I've effectively had to manage the stream of communication myself, even since he's been back in SA. After pressuring him, I eventually had a valuation and after I sent him an invoice he'd requested from me, I thought what was initially supposed to be a quick-and-easy exercise was finally resolved. Michael WhatsApped me approx. a week ago saying something half legible about my phone dying randomly and that he'd get back to me, but there's been nothing since. Of course I'd assumed iQuick's technicians had tested the device throughly before settling on a valuation—silly me. iQuick has pretty much been in possession of my device for two and a half months now, and I'm too embarrassed by the whole situation to ask anyone for yet another update. iQuick/Michael, please get your **** together and settle the invoice I've sent you.
