Be CAREFUL of doing business with iQ Rentals & Bonds

I've been living & renting flats for about 4 years now - from being a graduate in 2018. I had the misfortune of being assisted by a real estate agent from IQ Bonds & Rentals for a rental property in Centurion. I was not at all informed of a HEFTY contract fee that would follow upon my moving in (when I asked her in person, "what other expenses can I expect apart from the rental fee?"), the shut-down of my electricity upon not immediately opening my own water-account (after being told I would only be paying for electricity - read your contract folks, these people will take every cent that they can), 2 Broken lights (for which I opened a ticket, never addressed (ghosted by my agent), broken vacuum brakers in the ceiling (ignored, never addressed) - screeching day and night - It was a living hell.

When I moved out - after paying 3 MONTHS EXTRA RENTAL FEE's during lockdown (even when my contract ended - and was not living there, EVEN when I was not required to do so - thank you Mr. President) I left my brand new window d**** support beams on the wall, because the original ones were rusty and broken, I repainted the old scuff marks against the wall (which were there when I moved in). WITHOUT MY CONSENT OR AGREEMENT - THIS AGENCY CHARGED ME R7440 for repainting, repairs & cleaning (which WAS cleaned to the brick) of a SINGLE BEDROOM APARTMENT!

I emailed them about the disagreement. I was completely ignored. Never heard from them again. Do not rent from this company.
