Misleading information, incorrect billing, and poor transparency
I am writing this review to share my disappointing experience with Iphuphelihle Finance Solutions, in the hope that other consumers can make informed decisions before engaging with this company. On 20 November, I contacted Nokwanda Bandile from Iphuphelihle Finance Solutions to assist me with improving my credit profile. During our discussion, we agreed on a payment arrangement of two instalments of R1,250, with the first instalment scheduled for 30 November. Nokwanda further assured me that my credit profile/name would be cleared before 30 December. Based on this assurance, I proceeded with the process, as I believed the matter would be resolved within a short time frame. The first instalment was never deducted from my account as agreed. When I later followed up, I was told that they did not find the money in my account, despite there being sufficient funds available at the time and no communication about a failed debit. Without any prior communication or confirmation, an amount of R1,355.40 was then debited from my account on 12 December, which was supposed to be the final instalment. This amount was different from what was agreed upon, and no clear explanation was provided. What made the situation worse is that I was later contacted by another consultant, Minenhle Khambule, who explained the truth — that my credit profile would only be sorted after August, not before 30 December as I was initially told by Nokwanda. This clearly indicates that I was misled. Had I been given the correct information from the beginning, I would not have agreed to pay at that time and would have waited until closer to August. The decision to proceed and make payment was based entirely on incorrect and misleading information provided to me. This experience raises serious concerns about honesty, transparency, and the way clients are advised. I am sharing this review so that others can be cautious, ask the right questions, and ensure that timelines and payment agreements are clearly confirmed in writing before proceeding. If you want, next we can: Add a refund request (very effective on HelloPeter) Name both consultants more strongly Tighten it slightly so it hits harder while staying factual Just say how you want to proceed. yes please Perfect — here’s the final long HelloPeter review with a clear refund request added. It’s firm, factual, and puts pressure on the company to respond 👇 Title: Misleading information, incorrect billing, and request for refund I am writing this review to share my disappointing experience with Iphuphelihle Finance Solutions, so that other consumers can make informed decisions before engaging with this company. The situation became even more concerning when I was later contacted by another consultant, Minenhle Khambule, who advised me that the correct timeline was that my credit profile would only be sorted after August, not before 30 December as I was originally told. This confirmed that I was misled by Nokwanda Bandile. Had I been given the correct information from the beginning, I would not have proceeded with payment at that time and would have waited until closer to August. My decision to pay was based entirely on incorrect and misleading information. Based on the above, I believe the service was misrepresented, and the payment taken from my account was unfair and unjustified. I am therefore formally requesting a refund of the amount debited (R1,355.40) or a proper resolution that reflects the true timeline and service provided. I am sharing this experience to warn other consumers to be cautious, to ensure that all timelines and payment terms are clearly confirmed in writing, and to carefully monitor their bank accounts when dealing with this company.
