Battery fail earlier

We bought a Mercedes C200 from Empangeni,on the 12th month the battery failed we request a sleep for the battery no response,we went to workshop to request for price of a new battery.then we were told last time battery was changed on 2015, means they should have changed it when sold to us.if one buys a battery 2 year guarantee is given.so inyanga motor ****** us
