Invicta Developments worst experience ever.
They don't even deserve one star. I bought a property from them, and moved in on the 1st of July 2022. From day 1 I picked up issues with the unit. I drafted the snag list which included; A skew wall The floor was not level The cupboards, well they used 2nd hand materials The bathroom tiles were skew and not level The bathroom tiles were chipped The toilet was leaking The bath was lose The gas geyser did not work The stove was put in skew I could not open my car door in the parking bay.
For the first few weeks I could not live in the unit. I sent various complaints and I sent the snag list to the contractor, well it was passed on the 3 different people. Some of the listed items were fix but after a month and a half I had to complain some more, they did not bother to fix the rest. Invicta then sent yet another contractor out, I pointed out the issues on my original list and he "got offended" when I said the workmanship was really bad. He started arguing with and stated "Invecta does not build perfect houses and if I don't like the workmanship I can find some wear else to stay". After I pointed out how bad the issue were he then committed to sort it out. To make matters worse, the conveyancing attorneys WD Saayman started putting pressure on me to get the bond registered. This also lead to a conflict when I did not fold under their pressure. It is now nearly 3 months later and there are still issues outstanding.
I was also told that there are only 2 people in the complex that are being difficult. On further investigation I discovered that most of the people in the complex are unhappy and their issues are mostly the same as mine. I have a full record of all correspondence, so these are the facts.
Bad workmanship, bad attitudes from the contractors, bad after sales service, bad at support in sorting out the snag list and the conveyancing attorneys are not your friend, they only look after the interest of the developer.
I will never buy form them again, so be warned.
