Marked fragile yet received in pieces

I received my delivery, all nicely bubble wrapped, in a sturdy box clearly marked "fragile", only to find it in pieces. The item was obviously just chucked in the back of the van not caring and abiding to the fragile warning. Ever since it has been a nightmare to get them to accept responsibility. This was an insured item, yet they play games, and it gets bounced back and forth between them and the supplier, asking for the same information over and over!
