Better than most doesn't mean there isn't LOTS of room to improve.

Usually, I would give IE 4 to 5 stars for their delivery. I switched to them from The Courier Guy a few months back and have been happier. But I must say that they REALLY let me down this Christmas.

Yes, they posted that their operations would be irregular during the holiday, but there was no way of knowing that they actually wouldn't be working at all on boxing day, so I booked a delivery for a client who really needed something. The system took the order just fine but gave no indication of anything being closed.

Also, even if I check SMS and email notifications, nothing ever comes through.

I think the systems are a bit broken still for IE. While they far outpace most couriers on ease of use, they still have a way to go to make sure that things don't fall through the cracks.
