Beware as you will not get what you paid for

I contacted Alan from Interiors Inc to supply and install custom made curtains with a double rod. While choosing my curtain colors he advised that he would install a pulley system on the curtain. Since its a double rod I expected both rods to have a pulley system. I asked him several times for a detailed quote and invoice so that I know exactly what I will be paying for and what I will be getting at the end so that everything we discussed will be in writing on a formal invoice which I can refer to in case he delivers something that is not according to what we discussed. He was extremely hesitant and did not send me a formal quote or invoice after asking several times. We also agreed 2 weeks in advance for him to install on a Friday but 2 days before the installation date, he advises me that he wants to do another job on the Friday and would like to come in on Saturday instead. After installation I noticed that the front curtains does not have a pulley system and only the back curtain has it installed so I asked him to please install the same in the front curtain as we agreed and he was extremely rude and said he cannot do this as he did not quote me for this and I should contact someone else for better service and I should count myself lucky that he came in on a Saturday to do my job. But I was actually accommodating him as he wanted to attend to another client on a day that was booked way in advance for me. Further more he does not care about after care service and making sure the client is getting exactly what they paid for. I realized now that he did not want to give me an invoice because he wanted to get away and save costs with not providing me with the complete product we discussed. He also supp**** a different color from what I chose and I did not say anything because it doesn't look too bad. But he does not even acknowledge that I accepted something that I did not choose and yet he still wants to get away with doing half the job.
