It's all about the long term
Making an application for residency in South Africa can be akin to taking a hammer to your head once a day.

We worked with Intergate Immigration from the beginning of our temporary residency and to be honest we were thinking of doing it ourselves. The initial collecting of the paperwork is something you have to do most of the legwork for - and then Intergate check, collate and submit.

They were very friendly and our dealings were very professional. What we didn't appreciate was the amount of work that they then have to do to ensure that the paperwork gets in front of the right person at the right time.

Our temporary residency was approved when we needed it. Which was stage one - then we moved onto the permanent residency application and a multitude of delays from the home office. We are still waiting to get this approved but it has been a battle that Intergate have followed all the way through

You will find it hard/impossible to do a temporary or permanent residency without some assistance.
