Do not use Intergate

Do not use Intergate, especially for Australian immigration services. I have had a nightmare with them - they do not know the latest Australian Immigration Law and their advice is useless. I used their services initially because I wanted to come to Australia for my partner and I was told by the Sales representative that it would ease the stress (and the sales tactics they use make you think it is almost impossible to get a visa without their help when in fact this is not the case) but it did not at all. In fact, I was still without work rights for a year (despite in my initial report they said it would take 'up to' 6 months) and I only eventually managed to get work rights through my own research via the DIBP and through the help of other immigration lawyers.

They also ask for upfront payment of fees, which was a huge mistake because effectively you are paying up-front for services not yet provided, but you assume (and are led to believe) that you will get your visa eventually (so obviously at the time you are happy to pay the ridiculous amount). But what if you don't get your visa? You have then effectively paid a huge amount of money for nothing!

I am writing this because I would have wanted to know this before I made the mistake and embarked on their services. Thoroughly do your research on a company if you wish to use an immigration adviser and I would recommend choosing a proper immigration lawyer, these people aren't immigration lawyers!
