Refund/cancellation of the Ticket

I bought a lot ticket to Bloemfontein on the 23 March and decided to cancel one the 24. Because I was coming back I ask them if a can use the one I cancel and use it when I come back. The agreed and told me that I will do that when I came back at Bloemfontein. On the 27 while at bus stop at Bloemfontein I explain to them but they refused to help me. I had to call my family and borrow the money so that I can buy another ticket and come back. At Bloemfontein they told me that I should ask Pretoria to help me. While Pretoria told me that Bloemfontein will be able to help me. May I kindly get my money back from this coming. I borrow the money now the person who borrowed money want it back
