Intercity Double booking and leaving passengers behind. Staff are unprofessional and rude

I booked a bus for 2 adults to leave on the 01 August 2024 to Scottburgh at 21h00. We arrived at the terminal at 19h45. On arrival we were told by the terminal staff the our bus had left already. The people assisting were rude and very confrontational. At around 21h00 we notice a intercity bus at Bay 3 (where we were told out bus had left from) we we approached the person assisting people to embark (he was one of the people that were rude and confrontational towards us) he told us that that wasn't our bus without even checking our tickets. Due to the situation getting a bit Volatile we had to leave the station for fear of getting physically hurt. Intercity employees were swearing in vernacular and referring to us as "Coolies". I called Intercity hep desk this morning and i was basically told that there was noting they could do including refunding monies spent for our tickets.
