Horrible traveling ordeal resulting in blatant abuse and complete discomfort

I'm sick of being ********** and not getting value for money. In today's day & age we can't afford to get ********** when every single cent we are working for gets less & less. This case can also be classified as blatant abuseand I have been told I am full within my rights to lay a ******** charge against this company. I am weighing up my options at the moment so this is not a threat just yet - just for the record.

A while ago I posted about my HORRIBLE ORDEAL of a trip driving down to the coast from Gauteng. HERE'S THE UPDATE! And OH WAIT, IT GETS WORSE... MUCH MUCH WORSE.

On both the away and back trips there were NO SOCIAL DISTANCING WHATSOEVER. IN FACT WE WERE PACKED IN LIKE SARDINES BREATHING DOWN EACHOTHER'S NECKS FOR 12 HOURS STRAIGHT!!! TOTALLY INHUMANE AND TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. It is very clear that money is more important than our safety. I EXPECT AND DEMAND that Intercity and all other travel services that has done this (and I see from similar posts on social media that there were quite a few, airlines, busliners, etc.) be held accountable for worsening the rising #covid cases.

To recap these terrible trips and add the info from the trip back from the coast:

TRIP DOWN TO MARGATE: - No temperatures were taken, no sanitisers on board, no sanitising of hands upon entry - No social distancing - No ventilation on the bus, couldn't open windows - Time clock on board incorrect - Left late - Both USB charging ports at my seat not working - Awful music kept playong so loud even with my own music in my earphones I could hear it -Seat handle rest was not working

TRIP BACK TO GAUTENG: - Two sets of alarms going off, the one the entire trip, the other one every now and then. - Check light on dashboard was on. On confronting the driver about this (of which I have a voicenote to prove it), he denied any faults on the bus and even went as far as completely denying that there was a problem. What's more, he couldn't get the alarm to stop and wouldn't accommodate my request to do so. We all had to endure this 12 hour trip with these alarms in our ears. This can very definitely be passed through as torture, which is an immoral and inhumane act. - Leaking window, it was raining at one stage - Dirty from previous guests' chewing gum, leftover rubble - Seat couldn't fully recline - A lot of cup holders were broken on several seats - One of the window wipers did not operate optimally, it was raining quite hard at one stage - No sanitiser, no temperatures taken (again) - No USB charge ports - Aircon was on but no ventilation whatsoever as far as I could see

I also want to direct your attention to their website where they state their busliners are luxury with amenities that they couldn't offer on the trips. This constitutes false advertising and I WILL be reporting this to the BCCSA.

Upon several emails I have not yet heard back from Intercity. I will also be posting this entire report on Facebook and email them again in the hope that they compensate me. I demand NOTHING LESS THAN A FULL REFUND FOR BOTH TRIPS. I'm sick of being ********** like this and will not just keep quiet like I normally do. Time to take a stand.

Images and voicenote of the alarms and the driver not taking responsibility for it and refusing to address the matter is available on request.

These images clearly shows a packed bus with no social distancing for 12 consecutive hours besides a 30 minute break. I have requested Cyril Ramaphosa or the Department of Health to explain the logic behind this??? They also show some passengers without masks. They traveled like this for quite some time, some of them for most of the trip.

I WILL NOT BE SUBJECTED TO ******** ABUSE LIKE THIS ANY LONGER. I'VE NOW HAD ENOUGH.
