Unprofessional and all round terrible service

Wow this company doesnt even deserve 1 star. Such shockingly terrible service. I had my furniture transported frm pietermaritzburg to jhb as i was relocating at the end of Dec. on the quote which i signed acceptance it stated that my furniture would be arriving 06/01/20 i had booked storage in pretoria as i required access to my things - books/clothes (apart frm the survival stuff i packed) while i looked for a place to stay that month. (I am a post intern doctor who got allocated to jhb for community service at the last minute and i had to scramble to relocate.) this company arrived abt 5 hours late to fetch my things and apon arrival they had on their inventory list items that i had not included and do not own when i sent my inventory list - they then informed me that my few small boxes (of a 1 bedroom flat) would incur more costs after which i pointed out that they had incorrect items specified and i refused to pay anything else. Anyway they took my things and i did not see my stuff until 1st February. Mandy, the company correspondence person informed me on the 6th after i enquired about the whereabouts that delivery would be delayed about 1 week to which i accepted. However 2 weeks passed and no delivery - at this point the storage i paid for was sitting unoccupied meaning i paid for nothing. When i again phoned mandy, she lies and tells me she assumed i had consented to late delivery because ‘i said it was fine’ - referring to the time i accepted her apology for a late delivery of 1 week but now it was about 2 weeks down. She then gives me an excuse that they do not have a truck to come to jhb and they will have to ‘build a load’.. she still hadn’t given me a final date of when it will arrive. The due date to cancel the storage for the following month was mid month and this date had passed meaning i had to pay for storage for feb but i couldnt cancel it as i had not yet found a place to stay so whenever the delivery was made i’d have no place to store it. The week leading up to end of Jan arrived and i once again phoned mandy to ask when the delivery would be, at this point i am more than angry as i’ve had to live off miminal supplies that i packed for max 2 weeks. After calling again She then tells me that it would be arriving on the 1st of feb. an absolutely disgraceful and unprofessional joke of a company. i would never recommend these people unless you have time and money to waste.
