I recently travelled to Zimbabwe on Wednesday 03 January 2018 and used the Intercape Bus Coach #063. I never thought I would experience such from Intercape. The bus was supposed to depart Parkstation at 1300hrs and it only left an hour later without any communication from the staff on what the delay was about. When the bus finally came instead of passengers having Seat # allocated on their tickets we were told we could just sit anywhere which ended up causing confusion and a scramble for the sits since the bus was overbooked Finally after getting a sit THE TOILETS WERE STINKING imagine this bus came and the toilets were not cleaned at all and had no water We as passengers brought this to the bus drivers that how come the bus toilet was smelling before anyone used them in the bus. We were told they were not cleaned because it was Pick period so the Bus had no time to go and get cleaned and get water One passenger even ran to Spar before the bus started our journey to buy Airfreshner but it didn't work the smell was too sthong. I mean come on Intercape you call yourselves 5 star bus service but you can't even have the decency of cleaning your bus toilets. So disgusting I ended up throwing up by the garage of our first stop and the whole journey for me to Zimbabwe was a nightmare.
In my way from Harare on 07/01/2018 I was using Intercape again Coach # 063 and the Bus broke down just a fee hours after departure ., in Masvingo at 1745hrs and we only received a replacement bus after more than 8 hours at 0230. I will never use INTERCAPE BUS SERVICES AGAIN such a waist of money. The charging ports for the bus were not working and I will not recommend anyone to use this bus.
